Tools and test equipment are necessary for accurately estimating where losses occur in the network line. We troubleshoot meticulously, identifying potential issues that may arise in the future or are currently manifesting.


We utilize EXFO OTDR test equipment to ensure the accuracy of our tests. Working collaboratively as a team, we evaluate our options and devise efficient solutions to minimize downtime, ensuring minimal impact on our customers or clients. We meticulously inspect every conceivable variable to preemptively address potential issues.


We ascertain whether the problem lies with one or all of the fibers in the cable. In cases where all fibres exhibit breakage or higher-than-expected loss, an OTDR will pinpoint the problem's location in longer cables, whereas premises cables may necessitate physical inspection of the cable run.


During OTDR testing, splice loss issues can be precisely identified. Verification with a VFL is recommended to confirm the length from the cable's end. The VFL is instrumental in detecting high-loss splices or fibre cracks resulting from handling issues within the splice tray.
